    • ph, i don’t think the great lakes are affected by tides. i think this area always looks just about the same for the past 10-20 years. we do get some variation in water height depending on precipitation.

    Thanks Mary. To me, the soil and the rocks look like water was there. Living in the Chesapeake Bay area guess I’m just used to tides.
